SEIU 925 - Issaquah Paraprofessionals Chapter

We represent the Paraprofessionals that work in the Issaquah School District.

HRS Paras of ISD:

The District’s plan for a cost cutting measure is to reduce hours on Wednesdays to 6.0 hours for the entire HRS job title. The District has said that this is a request they have received from HRS paras. We would like to get your feedback on this issue.

Maria Arellano, our SEIU 925 Union Rep, and our Issaquah Chapter President, Rebecca Schwenk (Liberty Paraprofessional), have already put in a ‘Demand to bargain’ to HR. We are planning a Zoom meeting soon, as well as sending out a survey to get your input.
